Portfolio - Safety Skills Bulleting Board: Preventing Melanoma

Attached is the PDF of my bulletin board on preventing melanoma.  This is very important because of young people being aware of what to do to protect themselves from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Moreover, the different warning signs to look for in identifying Melanoma.

Statistics from the Center for Disease Control (CDC)  in 2011:

  • 70,853 people in the United States were diagnosed with melanomas of the skin, including 41,573 men and 29,280 women.

  • 12,212 people in the United States died from melanomas od the skin, including 8,241 men and 3,971 women.
